Brief

Fixed ops is the department that pays the bills and the one almost nobody advertises. It also cannot win on price, because every store in the market can discount an oil change. So the spot sells the process instead: the inspection you get to see before anyone touches a wrench, and the work that does not start until you say so.

Approach

  • 01

One continuous argument across six beats, keys to inspection to approval to wrench to handback, so the promise is demonstrated rather than claimed. The vehicle is a real, accurately badged Toyota Camry, verified frame by frame across the motion, because badge accuracy is the product.

  • 02

Every shot is generated image-to-video from a locked still, which is why all six share one service department: the same bay, the same lifts, the same uniforms, the same light. Text-to-video was tested first and drifted to a different shop on every shot, so the still-first route is what makes it read as one place.

  • 03

Cut in Remotion against the voiceover, with shot changes set to line starts measured from the read rather than eyeballed, a ducked music bed, and a neutral placeholder end card a real dealer lockup drops into later.

Result

A finished :19 fixed-ops concept cut, the segment the campaign kits already cover in statics and the portfolio previously had no film for, produced end to end with no shoot day.

Concept spot for demonstration. End-card branding, offer, and legal shown as placeholders pending approved assets.
